The ICTP and NAM S&T Centre jointly supported the fellowships under the South Asian region network in Semiconductors for 2 years during 1998-99. A number of scientists from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka participated in this scheme for period ranging from 6 to 12 weeks to work on different aspects of semiconductor science & technology in the laboratories of member countries.
